Denitza Zafirova

Denitza can shortly be heard in XR Solastalgia, directed by Antoine Viviani and Pierre-Alain Giraud at the National Gallery of Iceland in Reykjavik. Part of the 2020 Sundance Film Festival’s New Frontier lineup, Solastalgia premiered at Les Champs Libres, France where it will play until March.

MUSE, in which she stars as surrealist photographer Dora Maar (lead) along Jahmai Maasai, Sarah Elizabeth Kentish and others, just had its second London run, this time at the Tristan Bates Theatre. In both of its runs the show was excellently received and well-reviewed by publications like BroadwayWorld, FringeReviews and LondonTheatre1, to name a few.

Zafirova is currently engaged with the development of Inner, a project she co-created with curator Boyana Djikova and works on multimedia installations and theatre researches in Paris.
